Dorosday has held the post of Director since 2009 following a distinguished career as the Director of the Dept. of Fisheries and later the Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development. She is the principle advocate for the equal rights of women and girls in Vanuatu and was instrumental in the introduction of reserved seats for women in municipal elections. In 2012, she was awarded the "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite" by the French government in recognition of her dedication to the strengthening of women's rights and to reducing domestic violence against women, children and persons with disabilities.

My role at the Department of Women's Affairs is Gender & Protection Cluster Coordinator. My passion ans commitment is to help the Government of Vanuatu make the concerns and experiences of women as well as of men an integral part of the design,implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmers in all political,economic and societal spheres both in peace times and in emergencies. Only then will women and men benefit equally. the current development gaps that Vanuatu have has posed hardships on the lives of women, men, children and people living disabilities from all walks of life. this can be slowly but surely eliminated through coordinated partnerships in providing equal opportunities and responsibilities to all so that everyone can live in harmony and work together for a better Vanuatu. It has economic and social benefits for the nation and it is fair to everyone-forming the basis of good governance.

Erick is the Communications and Liaison Officer. He promotes and develops strategies to communicate the mission and activities of the department. He expresses the achievements, challenges and updates that women, children and people with disabilities so that their rights may be respected and to enjoy a life with no boundaries.

Johnlyn Regenvanu has been volunteering for over ten years doing community work and services with different Non-Governmental organisations and Community faith based organisations in Malekula as well as Port Vila. He has been working alongside people with different social status in the community. This year 2016 he has teamed up with the Department and with his experience of working with communities, he brings a lot of experience in working with the community to help women to advance to another level in all works of life.

Driver and Logistics Officer

John brings over 7 years of experience with working with youths at all age groups. The role of the Logistics and support Officer is crucial in undertaking programs within the Department providing logistical support for all Program Managers and especially the administration chores of the Department. A high in spirit and motivated in every assigned task given to him to accomplish daily always with a smile.

Esrom is the economic Officer and also the gender Protection Cluster Leader under the National Disaster Management Office. The role of Esrom is to identify avenues to assist in economically empower women and oversee the advancement of women the informal sector to step into the formal sector s that they may be up grade their business a venues and accommodate more productivity.

The Finance and Support Officer, Andrew has over 23 years of experience in Finance and The Finance and Support Officer, Andrew has over 23 years of experience in Finance and Management. The main key role Andrew is to oversee the financial issues of the Department and also manage incoming donor funded projects including administrative forecasts.

The office Assistant Judith who has worked for the Department for over 9 years is the most wanted person in the department. Multi tasked and pro- active in every request of the Program Managers needs in running activities for the Department. Complimented to be the best support and logistical person for any work within the department through her commitment and team spirit has set high standards in the work place.
